Eet natuurlijk lokaal Onepager
"Eet Natuurlijk Lokaal" is an initiative by Rotterdam De Boer Op and the Postcode Loterij to encourage the residents of Rotterdam to eat more (bio)diversely. Morrow, a partner of Rotterdam De Boer Op, was asked to develop the content strategy and build a website.
I was tasked with working on the (interaction) design of the website. It was important in this case to create a one-page website composed of components (essentially like building blocks), so that the client could potentially expand the website themselves in the future. To ensure that the client could easily manage this, these components had to be built as simply as possible and placed in a user-friendly CMS (Content Management System). However, the simple one-pager shouldn't feel like a one-pager. To achieve this, we came up with a new scrolling method, namely from left to right instead of top to bottom. By effectively communicating with our developer, the entire process went smoothly, and we created a unique one-pager on a tight budget that can also be easily expanded.
Together with the client, we curated the website's content. We conducted a content session where we determined what was important and where content should be placed on the website. For this session, I created a proposal and narrative, which we reviewed together. The client eventually wrote the appropriate content, which I then checked before integrating it into the CMS system.
Considering the time, budget, client's requirements, content, and the fact that I was able to take on this project as an autonomous interaction designer, it's a project I look back on with joy.
